Timeline:

– July 28: County budget released
– August 13–15: Budget hearings
– August 18 (if needed): Final vote

The facts:

In 2020, Travis County approved a 21-year deal to refund up to 80% of Tesla’s property taxes each year. Since then, Tesla has violated environmental laws, endangered workers, and failed to live up to its promises.
