No, he did not have a point(e) about ballet or opera.
He was being ignorant & dismissive of performers with a level of talent & training he could never achieve.
The article made some good arguments about how the world of ballet could be improved, but that was not what he was talking about at all.

The pall of smoke over Glasgow today. The spire of Glasgow Central is barely visible through the haze.
Today is not the day to head into Glasgow city centre if you have respiratory issues. The air is acrid.
This is the view from my office. The wind is coming from an unusual, south-easterly direction, so the smoke appears to be affecting neighbourhoods as far away as Woodside.

There are quite a few Americans on here complaining about the price of petrol (gas).
How do they think the rest of the world feels about the prices being driven up for everyone by the US/Israel starting a completely unnecessary war?
This is horrendous.
A fire started in a vape shop this afternoon has wiped out a whole row of shops in a beautiful Victorian building and completely closed Glasgow Central Station.
The fire is still raging and the Fire Service are trying to contain it with water pumped from the Clyde.
