You can run most games through Steam and they'll just work, and the ones that don't usually don't require much more than just switching to a different version of Proton in the launch options.

Granted, if you're using your computer for gaming you will have to tinker with things to get all your games working. But, like... you don't have to tinker *that* much.

If all you're using your computer for is internet browsing and office stuff both of those distros will work fine for you right out of the box, you probably won't even need to install anything. It's so easy and you don't have to deal with *any* of Windows's shit anymore.

As someone who fucking loathes Microsoft generally and Windows specifically I'm admittedly biased, but I don't really get the heavy resistance I sometimes see towards installing Linux. Ubuntu and Manjaro (just as examples) aren't any more difficult to set up than Windows is.

Pro tip: feed your cow girl a bulk diet full of solid protein and calories to maximize her milk output that's also packed with all the right macronutrients to boost your gains in the gym.
