Is it some underrated masterpiece? Nah.

But the story is great. The characters are (mostly) great. The new megas are the perfect mix of goofy and awesome. The battle mechanics are lighthearted casual fun.

Also Jacinthe's theme slaps hard enough to completely dethrone everthing that came before it.

Hey. Resident Modern Pokémon Hater here to tell you that ZA is actually pretty good. The critiques I have of the game are all very superficial, the game itself is extremely fun to play. I found myself so engrossed that I 100% completed it, a feat I have *never* accomplished before in a Pokémon game.
