STAYCโs audio quality is going down. โBEBEโ is a diva house track that sounds like it was made in garage band. The main hooks are the same notes blaring and are slightly flat, meaning that even at under 3 minutes the song drags.

Koi Kat, former member of ANS, has made her solo debut with โLet it Show,โ an upbeat, classic dance pop track with a strong bass and build up to a fantastic drop into the chorus. Thereโs a nostalgic quality to this that reminds me of Taeyeon or early Chung Ha.

Jisoo is full of surprises. โearthquakeโ is bassy and fun, and I was happy to hear a Korean release from a BP soloist. The drop is uneventful (a problem since FLOWER),and the song is pretty samey. Itโs leagues up from her first release, but still not doing much for me.
The production is exciting and despite a glut of songs like this coming out right now, โRed Sun,โ shines through with its authentic energy and U_Chaeโs bright vocal tone.

despite a weak intro, purple kissโ HEADWAY (2024) is a true return to their grungy and witchy form after a confusing turn with BBB (which itself heads a very underrated mini). people are quick to overlook purple kissโ incredibly consistent and self produced work
