Every time we've used it (hotel to hotel only), it's worked perfectly. Form-filling can be a tiny bit complicated but hotel staff have always helped/done it for us.

You'll have found out already (I'm sure) that there's an office in the Haneda arrivals terminal. I've never used it, but have seen it! It's clearly marked, and quite large. I've seen English-language signs/instructions around the office too.

If you're staying in hotels, they'll mostly take care of all of that for you. It's a very handy service, for sure.

We have used Ubigi twice in Japan and it worked perfectly.
