Eight years ago today my life as I knew and loved it came to an abrupt and unexpected end. I have rebuilt and rebuilt and while I have learned to love life again it is despite and not because of what happened. Surviving was easy, living is harder. Some days living is almost impossible.

I don’t know if it’s a combination of small business stress, heat, humidity and sensory overstimulation, but I had a panic attack buying produce for my shop at Queen vic markets, which is very unlike me because I bloody love that place. Today I don’t like being neurodivergent.
