I think people should protest, and I don't think we ought to have databases detailing who attended a protest in this fascist era. I don't say this with any angst or ill feelings towards any of the orgs involved; it's just what I believe, based on the severity of still-escalating conditions.

I've seen folks point out that posting on Bluesky seems riskier than signing up for a protest. A couple things. 1) I don't think people whose work isn't tied to their online presence/names aren't already out there should post politically under their own names 2) I wore a seatbelt when I was a smoker
