They updated their guidelines saying that "non-con" NSFW isn't allowed on BlueSky outright, and the wording is vague enough that they can go after peril/DID/bondage/femdom too.

You still have to show your ID though, because all the one-time payment does is let you access the same age verification system that Discord/Twitter etc uses.
They literally just paywalled the option.

For the record, I get it can be done as a 'one time payment' (I've paid it since I can't afford to lose another platform), but forcing a mandatory payment feels wrong, especially when BlueSky just announce it's going to start punishing NSFW artists.

I agree that Newgrounds is worth the support to keep independent, if you choose to do so.
I don't agree in the slightest that it should be mandatory just because you happen to be born in a specific country.
