I think of the skirt as being Olivia when she’s not working, or when she is more in “mom” mode, tapping into her femininity when she’s not on the clock.

The “parallel-ness” of the general timelines between SVU and OC have always been gray to me (I can’t say I pay attention to the dates that flash on the “dun dun” screen), but it seems as though they’re on the same calendar only during crossovers.
