A kenku called <quill writing on parchment sound> that spent their whole life copying books and so their speech pattern is entirely book narrations with dream to write their own book. But if you know kenku lore that's gonna be a problem

This is stunning, it's like a movie poster for a DnD game!
The composition and amount of personality each character portrays are amazing.

Rose is leaving her adoptive family running the carnival. Figure on the right is her echo (dnd class), it means she severed the ties and the possibility of going back is fading away, but she's afraid if it was the correct choice so she's holding onto it. The clouds blooming represent personal growth

A tiefling overlooking a circus she left behind. It was her adoptive home for most of her life but now she's ready to move on after meeting Quill who seems to be connected to her abilities somehow. she's ready to find out where her powers come from and how she became an orphan. The mirror image made of roses is her letting go of life in disillusion of a happy family and the roses blooming in the clouds symbolize the start of her growth

Whenever I show my art to new people I meet they often tell me it would make a really nice book cover art.
So I tried to make something in that theme.

It's a scene from a story I'm writing with my two dnd characters.

Sadly, I don't remember, I know it took a while for them to be fully introduced since they were kind of a death sentence slowly creeping in from the distance for consequences of that players actions. Always hunted. Never safe.

I remember having a lot of fun making these two since my DM had a strong vision but also was down for me to add anything. I have like a whole 2 pages of their lore he sent me to work with.

The drawing depicts two bugbear warriors in front of a ruined Torii gate. They are themed around Japanese samurai, one wearing leather armor and a long bow, their fur is completely black and the other is wearing a straw hat unsheathing a katana with their fur completely white. They both wear oni inspired masks

I found another one of my old drawings I never posted anywhere. It was before my great art hiatus of around 2021 that lasted until recently.

These were supposed to be bugbear assassins my DM commissioned from me to torment one of his players.
