She tried so hard to make us like him but it had the opposite effect. DV will still remain one of my favorite book series despite the nonsensical things that happened in this last book. I'm too attached to this found family 🥺

True, and I know that this book should've been more challenging than the others bcs each character's povs, but that everything was revolving around him, was so annoying. I get it that he's the author's favorite character but she didn't have to take the limelight away from the others 😭

YESS the pacing of the plot was very rushed, especially in the last part. I think she felt pressured to make us wait so long for this latest book. Also, I didn't like how one character was given more importance over others.

I totally understand you, I was pissed off with the book too. I haven't written a review yet but I rated it 2⭐ and I almost dropped it to 1 for all the drama with the author. In general, I would have liked the book to have been longer to develop the plot better
