Perhaps, rather than asking whether an action is "violent," we should ask—

Does it perpetrate oppression? Or interrupt it?

By bringing people together, we can create communities who look out for each other, cheer each other on, notice when someone needs help, and take action.

One of the best parts of being a musician are the stories you collect. One time when Hallelujah the Hills Nicholas Ward was in Madison, Wisconsin, a nice lady offered for them to stay at her place. When they got there, the door opened and he was met with a different message. 😆
