The carry on dimensions for flying is specifically discriminatory against alto saxophonists because the max height dimension is litterally exactly the length of an alto’s body, leaving any alto case no matter how slim in violation. It’s so close to fitting but it doesent and it’s infuriating

Not a discourse kinda person so all I’ll say is if you are morally outraged by people wearing a medical device for fun in the comfort of their own home you are not accepting enough to call yourself a furry.

Also there’s like no furries! You search furry and it’s just a bunch of conservative people laughing at fursuit pics, there’s a few people doing pseudo-news articles (which seems to be the website’s style) but they’re all shit writers.

Ok maybe I’m like doing something wrong or the algorithm misjudged me but I just spent an hour on substack and it kinda seems like a hell hole

There seems to be good people on there but there is a LOT of pretty gross conservative voices too, and it’s nothing but discourse. I don’t think I’m a fan.

The same goes for musicians, doesent matter if you’re a professional, a teacher, a GarageBand kid who’s never touched an instrument or a new member of a 4th grade band class. if you make music, you are every bit as much a musician as anyone else.

I once heard an anecdote about gay men during the AIDS epidemic: they would bury their friends in the morning, protest in the after noon, then dance all night, but ultimately it was the dancing that kept them going.

I would have to prepare for several weeks at least to get a new car, I am very emotionally attatched to mine haha

There’s a lot of emotions but the biggest one is just sadness. I’m sad for what it means for my country that I still love and believe in so much, I’m sad for the loss of a beautiful page I worked for years on, and I’m sad about all the friends that have scattered to the wind.

I guess we move on.💙
