Isabel is the only director to ask me (twice now) to score her movies, and she has set the bar so high as someone with a complete vision and a person I love collaborating with. Thank you, Isabel and her whole team. Thank you, Selena ♥️🫶🏾

Yet, I was truly honored and approached it with tenderness, love, alongside Isabel’s focused guidance.

Isabel asked me to write music to build narrative and emotional bridges throughout this story, for a documentary about a musical wonder like Selena, and to have supplemental music was intimidating.

Friends, I’m humbled to share that this remarkable work, a special and reverent documentary about Selena y Los Dinos, created by Isabel Castro, is now available on Netflix today.
