i dont know if im looking at it right but if the jacket sleeve ends at the bicep and whats below it is skin poking into the glove, then the move is to assign the skin parts the corresponding attribute (wrist/elbow/smth else?) which are hidden when coming in contact with the right flags (long glove)!

are either of these items upscaled/modded?
if yes, it may be:
- incorrectly assigned parts which leads to incorrect parameters
- shapekeys got messed up
- skin elements deleted/preserved incorrectly
- upscaled on different bodies

if unmodded vanilla:

new personal mod out — this is dewdrop, an edit to the YAB and rue chests. it's a size between YAB medium and small, and has a breast shape that i had trouble getting with C+ alone, so i made a body sculpt for it. has YAS & SFW support. pls enjoy! 🙏

other things i forcibly learned for this and am grateful i did:
- getting p//s just so i could edit her face normals
- how skin influence works so i could give her two toned lips more easily
- custom shapekeys and attributes (infinite possibilities)
- modpacking (ultimate)

i also am really glad i managed to figure out how to make her torn ear, for a while i was worried i would have to abandon it in her design all together bc it bothered me that i couldnt replicate it, but i figured it out!! it's an important aspect of her growth hehe

i'm proudest of her face model aspects-- i used venat's brows/lashes as i wanted her to have fluffy upper AND lower lashes but didn't want to use custom modded textures for it this time. also love the tears feature, i'm very happy i managed to pull that off. posing tears in gposes is ANNOYING!

all in all i'm extremely proud of myself for what i've done with her. when i first made her, i was convinced i'd never see her properly in game because general modding and my own skills were not advanced enough for what she deserves. but i have proven myself wrong! THAT'S HER!! THAT'S MY BABY!!!

Can be referred to as "Dami" as a catch all, but never "Damião," because she "killed that poor bastard" and it's "really awkward."

Diamond (she/her, pre-necron sundering) smiling warmly at the viewer. DPS main, you DO NOT want her to be a support. Favors golds and blues, or otherwise vibrant colors. Wears glasses because she needs them and they're cute. As harsh as she is happy. Can be referred to as "Dami" as a catch all, but never "Damião," because she "doesn't know who that is tbh" and "it's kinda obsessive lol?"

Amaryllis (she/it, also referred to as "Amari" or "Mari") looking blankly at the viewer with tears in her eyes. This is a natural phenomenon caused by her primal influence, don't even worry about it. WHM main-- don't worry about the magic looking kind of electrified and dark, it's totally fine. Allegedly doesn't have a color preference, actually likes purple but is shy about it. Doesn't wear the glasses that it needs because it doesn't like to see things. Monotone and to-the-point with an unexpected sense of humor. Can be referred to in numerous ways-- "Dami" as a catch all, even "Damião" if it is easier to place anger towards that name, but the most accurate would be "Necron." ...Nobody likes calling her that one, so they've given her the name "Amaryllis." She enjoys that one more.

A close up of Dami's new tempered eye textures in low lighting. Her pupils are a white diamond shape and she has an outer white ring surrounding the pupil. There is a light blue glow over her normally warm-pink eyes that makes them a cooler magenta-pink tone. The shape of the blue glow is similar to that of the ancients, as I stole their mask textures and edited them slightly to match my purposes more, as well as getting rid of the eye color influence in the pupil area. The diffuse texture is NOT color corrected, I can change her eye to be any color in the CC! I designed her eyes this way to loosely resemble the halos in Necron's design.

Dami's old tempered eye texture, which is just a white pupil and a blue glow. This one was not color corrected either, but it was quite rough as the photo editing software I had access to was limited.

and also here's a close up of her eye edits in darkness, they get lost in brighter lighting but i wanted to keep them on the subtler side. i forgot to take a new picture but here's the old version from when i first made that an aspect of her design too!

New version / "Tired" diffuse, wrinkle normals, wet cheeks mask, eye diffuse/mask, torn ear, tear toggle on. On this, I edited the mask to be more glossy/less rough around the eye/inner cheek area. It's not very easy to see in static images, but I thought it'd be cool. Also, I used the crystal tear prop and turned it into a custom attribute toggle because it is a feature of her character that she is physically unable to stop crying for a several months long period.

New version / "Glam" diffuse, wrinkle normals, lip edit mask, default eyes, torn ear I just wanted to have fun with this one, I felt like I was at a sleepover doing her makeup. The cheek drawings are inspired by some of the fem viera tattoo toggles, I thought it'd be a cute reference.

here are showing off the other facial toggles i made :) she has 4 diffuses, 2 normals, 2 masks, her torn ear is on a custom attribute, as are the tears, and she has a double chin shapekey toggle (not pictured as off in any pics, i just wanted the option)! these are the "intended" combos...

Old version. Uses C+ for all edits in the main sculpt, other than her double chin, which I somehow accidentally linked to her eye shape key... Oops. She had all her stuff yoinked directly from the male elezen textures, including her normals, which is why there's the harsh neck seam. She also uses F Viera ear 4, rotated to be at the side of her head. Her eyelashes and eyebrows were custom modded textures, both of which I am not sure I will be able to find later on, my apologies!

New version. "Basic" diffuse, wrinkle normals, lip edit mask, default eyes, torn ear. This is her "baseline" combination, the platonic ideal of a Dami. Her features are generally softer, slightly different c+ on this sculpt. All the textures now are the fem elezen ones (albeit with some edits). I edited her normals (from the "aging gracefully" modpack by oddnormals) to have less skin influence on the bottom lip so I could give her a two-toned lip more easily, and her mask texture to have less shine on the lips.

i totally overhauled her face mod for this, down to redoing the face port from M Elezen face 1 to F Elezen face 4. I think it was completely worth it :)
I like that she looks softer in general but retains a severe personality in her neutral expression!

New / "Basic" body textures Two pictures of Dami, a fat viera/elezen woman, standing from different angles to display her body textures. I did not note it on the image, but this bunny tail is a toggle attached to her face model-- it is not removable in canon but I wanted to make it a toggle juuuuust in case. The body hair textures in all of these are hafrun's "winter coat" mod with some personal edits.

New / "Tempered" body textures-- the only difference is that her limbs have a black gradient from the tip to the joint, her fingers to her elbows and her toes to her knees.

Old / "Basic" body textures These body textures were a warzone when I first put her on the fem model, because I decided to do the INFINITELY harder option of editing female body textures to be slightly darker to match the m elezen face diffuse instead of, I don't know, just doing what I did this time and use the fem textures as the base for the face instead.

my beloathed my beloved. not visible in this, but i was able to figure out how to get all the textures to match from bibo to vanilla, including normals/masks, so there isn't an easily visible seam difference when she wears modded/unmodded clothing with skin elements!

and also i want to thank everyone who has ever held my hand and taught me something about modding, be it programs, technique, resources, holding my hand while i FAFO-- i could not have done this without you! you are so appreciated!! ok let's start :)
