Because "success" is rarely ever based on meritocracy, and usually relies on connections and nepotism instead of skill.

Joining up with that band last year was the closest ive ever been to being creatively-productive in YEARS... and the only thing holding us back now is schedule :P

Railing over this stuff is kinda embarrassing. Just make your music, make it yours, and if someone loves it or cries to it or falls asleep to it or sweats in a basement to it - you've won the game and I'm fucking stoked for you, truly and completely.

I just wish I didnt have a combination of being inspired by everything I listen to, and then completely overwhelmed with choice-paralysis and executive dysfunction when it comes to actually making anything :P

I saw a random YT clip on proper hight for a drum stool to help take the weight off your knees and ankles, and i'd been sitting too low at my drum kit for almost a decade :P
