Adelsheim Vineyard Calkins Lane Vineyard Pinot Noir 2021, Chehalem Mountain, Oregon Light reddish in color with light intensity. Fresh berries on the nose with light cedar notes. Medium bodied with medium acidity. Dry on the palate with raspberries, fresh cherries, light oak, chocolates, black pepper, herbs and light earth. Medium plus on the finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries. This is a tasty Pinot Noir from Chehalem Mountains in Oregon. Showing nice complexity already, but will get even better with more bottle time. Will continue to age nicely in the next 10 years. This Single Vineyard Pinot Noir is spicy and nicely balanced, with a nice mouthfeel. Soft and elegant. Feels like a Russian River Valley Pinot. Easy drinking and good by itself or with food. Pinot Noir grapes were aged in (35% new) French oak barrels for 12 months. 13% alcohol by volume. 90 points. $75.
