I got a chapter done yesterday for my TGCF HuaLian AU! I have a goal of getting my AO3 incompletes to zero in before 2027. Next up, probably the last chapters of Fool's Gold, but I'm eyeing those Inuyashas too

I've been using Firefox for years after making the jump and havve no regrets. ublock origin (the best adblocker out there) works without a hitch.

AI steals. It kills our planet with every damn prompt. It raised our electric+water bills. It drives people into delusional madness. It spouts Nazi bullshit. And it can't even write something engaging. I'm waiting for the bubble to pop, but while we wait, keep it away from my fics, okay?

It's a question a LOT of creators you enjoy are asking themselves. How much do we need to protect our work, not only from greedy billionaires, but from lazy writers who'd rather steal your stuff and use AI to vomit it back up to gain attention? I'm not sure.

OpenAI already glutted on the whole of our fanfic (how else would it know what ABO is?), but knowing there are probably unscrupulous people in fandom who steal it and feed it to emulate it has made me sad, and sick. Makes you ask... should I just delete it all to protect myself?

I've been cleaning up my AO3 account a bit recently (I used to have a link to an old Xitter profile I deleted because... ew.) I already log-in locked all my fics and changed my profile to explicitly say DO NOT FEED INTO AI, but I wonder if I should write that on every fic.
