This is / should be a primary long term goal here. The fact that Visa / Mastercard have this power, that there's no viable digital equivalent to setting up a yard sale or meeting up to exchange cash for something you made is a problem

I will always remember Hulk Hogan for going behind Jesse Ventura's back (and lying to his face about it, which Ventura, who thought Hogan was one of his closest friends and confidants, only found out many years later) and ratting him out to Vince McMahon in the mid-80s because Ventura and Jim Brunzell were trying to start a union for all wrestlers that would've given them things like health insurance. Next time you see a wrestler struggling with healthcare they cannot afford as they deal with a lifetime of pain they cannot do much to take care of I hope you think of Hulk Hogan :)

Figured I'd share one of the more legacy cementing Hulk Hogan stories of when he went behind one of his closest friends' backs to bust the wrestling union that they were trying to get started. Even in the present day, wrestlers are considered "independent contractors" as opposed to employees
