My writing started off as Sims4 fanfictions. When I needed to tell more than what the game engine could provide, my son and I worked together to create a new Arc Universe with a more realistic magic system and lore.

I had someone on Substack accuse me of hating Americans. I don't hate Americans in general, just those who support a fraudulant narcissistic bigoted pedophile.

The magical community is self-regulated. The Archmage commands a council of Sages. Covens and clans work with the community for the benefit of all magical creatures. The Fae have a court system aside from the council.
Magic is kept secret from mundane society as Humanity still fears the unknown.

How does a federal leader expect to control civic level taxes? Only an absolute luddite will believe he can make this happen.
