Never underestimate the WWE fan's ability to be incredibly impressed by the most mundane shit.

At this point WWE consists almost entirely of four groups of people:

- Celebrities/Influencers
- Nepo babies
- Established wrestlers phoning it in for a paycheck
- The last generation of young wrestlers who are sold on the idea that a "Wrestlemania moment" is an important thing.

I think this is a fault of the way pro wrestling is presented in its modern form since it's move to a more serialized format vs. one-off "episodic" shows and less TV time. A satisfying story usually ends with the good guy winning. Not them winning over and over and over again.

When people complain about the heavy use of blood in AEW these days I can't help but think about how WWF homogenized and sanitized pro wrestling when it rose to prominence because pro wrestling pre-1980 was fucking WILD.

My Wii U is at my dad's house and we basically use it as a Wii Sports machine, so I can't really fiddle with that yet. But I did mod my original Wii, and am keeping an eye out for a reasonably priced second Wii U

Dude I have been having SO much fun with modding my old game consoles these past couple months. Even got a vita recently and have been fiddling with that. Was thinking about buying a Steam Deck earlier in the year but I'm getting so much more enjoyment out of the last "true" handheld generation.

You should *absolutely* dust that thing off and mod it up to play some Wii U and Wii games. I've been going through my old consoles and getting them modded and modernized one by one and it's been a blast. And the games feel so much more fulfilling than what comes out now.
