Heskey was really just a high pressing centre back.

28 assists and 3 goals. Must have had 20 for creativity and passing.

Yeah, they are the most relatable characters from any book/ series Iโ€™ve ever read. I have always seen each of them them as as an exaggerated version of myself in different moods.

Jesus, how have I gone 4 months without knowing that there is a new book in the Mark Renton series?

Legend, best manager since John Gregory.

Much like the Villa fans. Never lost the faith or hopeโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆโ€ฆ Oh wait, except for nearly everyone that commented online.

Occupational exposure in dry cleaning etc will be orders of magnitude higher than environmental emissions so presumably Parkinsonโ€™s disease will be super prevalent among that group?

TBF, they donโ€™t look that much different. We are much better defensively when Mings plays. End of story. ๐Ÿ˜œ

Yeah, he cops a fair bit of abuse but heโ€™s been one of our better players so far this season. Iโ€™m more than comfortable when he plays. His best position is CM but he does well in defence too.

Heโ€™s been really good when he has played. I was really surprised that you rated him as a 5 for his game against Everton. I thought he was our only decent outfield player in that game.

A lot of recency, English and big name bias.

He won PFA player of the year in 1993 and was still brilliant for Aston Villa for another 3 seasons. John Terry and Van Dijk are the only other defenders that have won it in the the premier league era and he was better than both of them.

Where the fuck is Paul McGrath. Should be in the top 20 at least.

Heโ€™d be our best player. Although, not sure why we werenโ€™t in for Grealish if we can spend this much on him.

Absolutely, surprised we havenโ€™t been linked with him.

Or, It would have been lower but we spent all that money. Same shit point just optimistic.

3-0 hat trick for Mings

Looks like we got the wrong side of the draw. At least we could play Bayern in the final again.

I love all your works but If youโ€™re writing a novel can you expand Renton, begbie and sickboy. I just love them so much.

Yeah, I was saying exact same thing to a friend today. Unai has rested players and switched it up a lot more this year. I was thinking that might be impacting the form a bit. I also think weโ€™ve missed Barkleyโ€™s impact off the bench the last few weeks.

I agree that itโ€™s not ideal and hopefully they can fix it. But the health impacts diminish the closer they are to 0 and would be barely detectable at a population level in a group of people with BL of 3.5.
It is strange that the exposure appears to be ubiquitous across the entire country.

People that are 50+ arenโ€™t that bad! They might be a few IQ points worse off than they would have been otherwise.

07.11.2024 13:56 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

I agree that itโ€™s not arbitrary and there will be higher results in that population. However, any health affects would be pre-clinical, and barely detectable at a population level. From memory, every 5ug/dL increase equates to 1 IQ point decline at a population level.

07.11.2024 13:51 โ€” ๐Ÿ‘ 0    ๐Ÿ” 0    ๐Ÿ’ฌ 0    ๐Ÿ“Œ 0

3ug/dL is is not that bad. Itโ€™s not ideal but Itโ€™s definitely not lead poisoning.
Blood lead levels in nearly every major city in the world during the 70โ€™s and 80โ€™s was between 10ug/dL and 30ug/dL.
