This war and extra-judicial kidnapping is patently illegal and unconstitutional. Political leaders on both sides must condemn it. It’s not about whether Maduro is a tyrant but whether the US is still governed by laws and the Constitution. As if this morning, we are clearly not.

The legal foundation for this action is weak at best. That’s why world leaders are demanding investigation and international review. If the law means anything, this must be examined as a serious violation.

So we’re just announcing foreign strikes and kidnappings of foreign leaders on social media now? No Congress. No explanation.

This is madness.
