This year has been so rough on me emotionally. Staying off some social media platforms has helped. I’m glad I took next week off to enjoy family visiting and I wanna get back into sewing 🥲

“Just be yourself” can sound like cliché and bad advice, because honestly, it goes badly sometimes. It can hurt. Some people will reject you. But the reason it’s worth it is that when things do work out, it’s with people who really like the real you, and that feels so much better than pretending.
