One big reason why I take long breaks from Instagram and slightly dread checking in on it. I hate feeling like I miss out or that if I’m not constantly posting anything then what I make isn’t good enough. I need to remind myself I only do this for my own enjoyment.

I keep plaguing myself with thoughts of feeling like I’m too old to enjoy something when that’s not true. I like sewing. I like making a costume of a character I appreciate. Social media has been killing my mindset on how I should approach a hobby instead of enjoying it.
