It's not more nuanced. It's absolutely terrible! I get free access and I'm very glad I don't pay for it. They are complaining about church wardens having to do safeguarding courses (and while they're at it moaning about messy church and lack of BCPs).

Sorry been busy with BBC recordings. V exciting. I’m
attempting to go old-skool vegan which feels grounding in a scary world and good for the planet- and binge watch the Chosen.

My easiest one is:take brown pasta twists, cook, and then in another pan fry courgettes with virgin olive, red peppers chipotle chilli flakes and paprika. Mix together and add soft goats cheese. Quick, easy, healthy and delicious!

I am incredibly proud of our amazing musicians.The music here is lovely even on a wet Wednesday in January(5.30pm daily…come!) but sometimes it goes*way* beyond that to a different place and we glimpse Eternal Glory. Yesterday’s BBC evensong was spectacular but the hard work and commitment was too!

Thanks for the encouragement and the knowledge that not reading it in a detached way was the right thing to do. It is such an amazing story. I think a world without it would be a much poorer place.

Have discovered a great band this weekend and it's very timely. The Porter's Gate sing fantastic modern gospel songs, many of them based on Psalms and passages of scripture. Just listening to them instead of political podcasts is feeling so cleansing.

I'm so very sad about this. Clive was such an amazing person, and he helped me enormously at a most awful time in my life. We're all so much poorer without him. "Well done good and faithful servant". You deserve the joy and wonder of heaven but we'll miss you terribly.

Although it is the kind of healing that begins with a painful operation(I’m thinking of the scar on my leg now). Jesus bring healing to your poor suffering people, your church (especially those who have been so mistreated) and hold us while we go through this.

Been thinking a lot about light lately.Y’day a half remembered phrase from an alt worship service sprang to mind “The light that makes your lies water”. It feels like God is shining a bright light -the light hurts as hidden crimes and heartbreak is revealed but I believe/pray healing can now begin.

A really special afternoon yesterday; cycling along the creek and beginning Christian Unity Week by singing Evensong with Truro Chamber choir in Penpoll Methodist church. ✝️

Oh no! I loved Henna until I got too orange for it.

Or maybe I should say that they won't rather than that they can't. Understandable given how horribly it can go wrong.

Oh the other thing about henna is they can't give you ordinary dye until Henna has completely grown out.

I used to use Henna a lot. At first it looks like expensive highlights (as the grey goes orange) but eventually there is too much orange. Our church secretary in Leeds swore by walnuts for blond but I never tried it myself. I'm so sorry these allergies are stacking up. It feels very unfair.

Gosh that sounds like a lot of work for not much gain. I'm still posting on both, but when I stop I'll just leave it up.
