A poorly lit photo of the entire Pump it Up arcade cabinet. There's a yellow-green underglow from the RGG lights I installed underneath the stages. The arrow panels are all placed with the arrow graphics pointed inwards towards the center, instead of outwards, to reduce and even out years worth of wear on the polycarbonate during play.

It's a Seagate Barracuda 160GB drive, with a large label stuck to it that says "PIU : PUMP PRO2 VER 12 2010.09.28" The September date stamp marks this as a somewhat early copy, at only 3 months after the game's official release, with the typical availability window for Pump it Up games being 1-2 years.

Not sure if this counts, but I own a genuine copy of Pump it Up PRO 2, a great game that sold very poorly and was heavily bootlegged (being built on the open-source StepMania engine). I've been told only ~20 real copies ever sold, and finding one with the button panel and marquee is near impossible!

I've released the files for this project at long last! Changes include:
- Fun accents and text on the faceplate and lid
- Upgraded to an 80mm solar panel; shockingly effective and easier to find compared to 70mm
- Fitment/tolerance fixes

Does anyone know anything about this? It says its "Apple iPort", "Designed by HWTE in Shanghai", featuring a Micro USB port, 2 USB-C ports, and a 4.2" Eink screen. It doesn't function properly as a USB-C cable tester between its 2 ports, and I have no other idea on how to use it.

userland ROP on day 1 💪

Turns out the MPPT board they delivered was configured from factory for 12V input, so this itty bitty ~6V rated panel had no chance of pushing enough power for the MPPT to even *consider* charging the battery. Woops lol. Thankfully the fix is just to swap out a 1¢ resistor!

Surprise, the solar panel is a removable lid! In this photo, the lid is sitting on the table upside down, on the left of the main body. There are magnets in 3 of 4 corners. The main body, on the right side, is half covered with a green faceplate, containing a screen and speaker. There is a small white keyboard PCB on the bottom half.

WIP solar capable #meshtastic messenger I'm working on!

The idea is to let it charge via solar when outside if USB isn't accessible. The magnetic lid also protects the keyboard & the new 1.52" OLED.

There's a CN3791 solar MPPT inside too, at the cost of a smaller 1100mAh battery (prev. 3000mAh)

Context for this is that the tokens kept getting jammed on the rear hopper ramp even though there was nothing for them to get stuck on. We greased the ramp, and the grease completely covered all the tokens over a few months. They got so dull that the sensors stopped recognizing them, lol

Falling down the #meshtastic rabbit hole has led me to the point where I'm learning Fusion 360 to design my own nodes, lol.

This is the 1st prototype of the Minimesh! A compact portable node with a 3000mAh battery & M5Stack CardKB, running on an nRF52 fakeTec. Battery life is roughly 2 weeks!

I'm working on a solar repeater node build right now, the hardware is all working and in order, I just need to figure out how to get it up nice and high. It's running a 5dBi ALFA AOA-915 antenna right now, but since it doesn't clear the roof, the signal doesn't make it all too far haha.

Hello there! I don't have a reliable connection from home, but I do see it pop up on my commute from time to time. I'm 5panel.dance (5p.d)!

Great design with lots of room for sensors, a dial, a buzzer, and a decently sized battery! Mine is 1100mAh and lasts 10-12 days on a full charge thanks to the crazy efficient nRF52 chipset.
