The amount of things I have to scrub or delete weekly when sermon prepping that I can't share with my folks from the pulpit.... Since, "apparently," it's not professional to swear from the pulpit for 15 minutes consecutively.

Thankfully I'm in a place to where they still hear what I want to say

‘Expletive infixation’ is the linguistic term for profanity inserted into a word for emphasis.

(For this thread, we’ll use 'BLEEPING,' but feel free to substitute another word.)

You lied about your ethics and you lied about your past
Bending over for a liar wrapped up in our nation's flag
You lied about the facts that now the entire world can see
Thinking we don't see the lies you're planting will soon be what you reap

Dear GOP,

Take that mask off, I wanna see what's under them achievements
Why believe you? You never gave us nothin' to believe in
'Cause you lied about religious views, you lied about your policies
You lied about your morals and your actions all are perjury

springing forth from the grassroots as it has done in revolutions past. Resistance is the only way forward. Rebellion is the only way forward. We cannot bend the knee AT ALL to the evils of this empire.

I can hear the people singing. I can see the revolution

of genocidal regimes and evil dictators. And many of those public sector employees sacrificed their lives for the freedom of others that were being targeted.

I'd rather put my trust in public sector employees, the TRUE servants of the nation, than billionaires that seek to serve themselves only

In response to the unelected official trying to destroy the U.S. government, a bit of a history nugget that probably won't get discussed in U.S. classrooms...

Public sector employees actually did the courageous work of protecting and saving millions of lives that otherwise would've been victims

Knowledge is power.
Education is resistance.
Books are tools for change.

Some companies will take longer to fully be removed from my online purchasing, I will admit, but the transition to fully supporting businesses and communities that stand for and stand by DEI is my goal as a consumer.

This economic blackout is not just for a 24 hour moment or about a movement. This has to be a message sent and a statement made. For me, today is just the starting point of a "draining of the swamp" of those companies that drain our wallets and do not support DEI.
