❝ I’m. . I’m going to choke you out and kill you if you don’t stop me! ❞

Tears streamed down her cheeks, gritting her fanged teeth and glaring at Jun, deep down she just wanted Jun to stop her and put an end to her pain.

❝ SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UP! I can put up with a traitor to our own kind, but not a traitor to Kazumi! ❞

It was clear something was deeply breaking down within the demon. A demon who became sympathetic to Jun’s ways, because of Kazumi.

Her eyes widened in surprise. Jun wasn’t fighting back? Why is this suddenly becoming so difficult to kill her? What is this feeling in her heart?!

Tears began streaming down her eyes. Before using her free hand to grab Jun by her throat and squeezing as hard as she could.

Her fierce eyes returned as she arose to her feet. She knew she had to go all out or Jun will kill her!

She used her wings to swoop towards Jun. Her arm winded back and her clawed fingers straightened, she was looking to pierce Jun straight through her heart!

Sliding down the wall she sat there for a brief moment, catching her breath as she listened to Jun. looking down, her fierce eyes softened as she clutched her stomach.

Kazumi was still in there, she didn’t want to fight, but her demon side was stronger.

Smashing against the wall, not only knocked the wind out of her it made her cough up blood. It was worrying, the Devil herself was holding back, yet that simple offensive attack was enough to do so much damage.

High into the night sky before dropping Jun and swooping straight down to deliver a powerful kick to Jun’s abdomen.

Sending the two straight down onto the roof of that same building with a harsh crater.

❝ Kazumi loved you, yet you’re the one who got her killed! I won’t let that happen again! ❞

Lunging forward with primal speed, slashing at Jun with her claws. Carving through the flesh of her chest and her abdomen.

Her movements were quick. She grabbed Jun by her wrists, her wings sprouted, flying her outside the building and into the air.

Being kicked back, she landed on her feet, using her hands to stabilize herself. She grinned, amused by Jun’s ignorance.

❝ You’re the one who told her to stay human, sealing our fate. You’re the one who killed her! I can’t allow you to be our weakness again. ❞

This is such a good night for her.

She’s got some ice cream.

She’s got her girlfire- I mean Jun.

Watching a couple movies!

With a slash of her claws, the demon Jun held fell to pieces.

❝ For Kazumi’s sake, you have to die. ❞

Her fierce eyes glowed in the darkness as she grabbed Jun by her shoulders, slamming her into the ground. Her claws sinking into her flesh.

Today is a good Sunday for her!

She’s got her sunglasses on and it’s time to hang out at the beach!

Charging in, Kazumi slashed and kicked at the combined demon beast which was able to dodge and evade her quick attacks. She had them on the back foot.

Grabbing them by the ankle and throwing them through the wall of a nearby building.

Walking in slowly, tracking down her prey.

Kazumi’s demon side has made a bit of a reputation

The two would combine into one demon beast, bigger and stronger, though still quite outmatched.

❝ If only your friend was still alive, you’d maybe at least give me a challenge~. ❞

From the darkness, Kazumi in her demon form harshly pounced down on one of the pursuing beasts. The beast was effortlessly made one with the pavement. She grinned as she eyed down the two remaining beasts.

Although it seems like the two were expecting the arrival of Kazumi.

A blood thirsty grin came across her lips. Looks like she didn’t have any other choice. She had to get rid of that poison tonight.

Putting on a coat, she’d head out into the cold night. Her heightened scent easily picked up the scent of other devil beasts.

So the hunt begins.

Kazumi couldn’t remember her at all but that meant something! It absolutely meant something, Kazumi knew she had memory problems.

She quickly got up but before she could do anything, she felt her blood run cold. The repressed demon side of her took control then and there.

There was something so familiar about her, there was such beauty and grace to her. It was so difficult to turn her down, she didn’t know whether or not she remembered her.

That’s when her eyes widened with a startled gasp.

❝ Wait. . she knew my name. . ! ❞

Kazumi was basically a pro at this point, having a good working attitude with others.

Upon returning home Kazumi would get ready for sleep, lying in bed she couldn’t help but think about that strange woman she met earlier that evening.

Kazumi’s day would go on as planned, taking some time to relax before getting ready to go out for a modeling session.

The session went pretty well. Kazumi seemed to have gradually gotten into more popular modeling agencies, the kind Jun was well familiar with.

Demon beast blood tastes good.

and heading into her apartment. Placing a hand on her chest, she could feel her heart racing.

She wasn’t outright denying Jun because deep down she knew there was something familiar about her. A ghost from her past that she could not escape.

Kazumi would take another step back. Her heart pounding in fear if what this familiarity might mean.

❝ Listen! I really don’t remember what you’re talking about. . but I can’t do this right now, I need to get ready for work. ❞

Kazumi gave Jun a slight polite bow before turning away

The coldness started building up again, fear. She took a step back but it didn’t help, it just made her feel worse.

❝ It’s nice to meet you but. . I’m feeling kind of scared right now. . ❞

She said shakily, with a nervous smile.

Kazumi froze, she didn’t understand what was happening.

❝ . . . Jun. . Fudou. . ❞

That name. . it felt so comforting to say. A name that was at home somewhere in her memory. Before she knew it her eyes unconsciously started to well up with tears.

It was Kazumi, the same voice, the same hair, the same height, her eyes were the same color although. . they were a little more like Jun’s. The eyes of a beast. Kazumi was still a demon beast like she was when she died too.

Eyes widening slightly as the woman grabbed her shoulders.
