This season really feels like the birth of a new year to me, much more than January 1st. That deep winter space is more about dreaming up the year to come, but spring is when it all starts to feel real. I can't believe I'll be in the UK and Ireland in less than two months!

I got to spend five days in the woods recently, enjoying some solitude and working on songs.
I think I'll go back again, some time during a warmer season.
