Some details: the eye, the caterpillar, the hand. This piece will be at the TFF art show: please come see it if you're able to! There are lots of shiny paints on this that don't photograph well, and even some parts that glow in the dark.

I'm glad to hear it! Most of the time I leave it open and hope that people will take their own messages from it, or that the title alone will lead them to the meaning I intended, but these last two paintings were admittedly not as easy to interpret without explanation.

Despite the fact that we are all animals and part of the earth, some choose to extract and sanitize only the pieces of nature they find useful or beautiful, ignoring the fate of the rest.

On its face, this is a furry version of a classic painting subject: the humble flower vase. However, by showing the florist and ignored nature behind them, this piece has another layer of meaning. This is a piece about luxury, and enjoying a life of fine things while in isolation from living nature.

The Melancholy Blue of Turning a Blind Eye

This blue color is also one I associate with herbicide: something many of us are consistently exposed to in order to do our work and tend to the land in any way. I don't often comment on meanings behind my pieces but I don't want this one to be left vague.

This one was made out of a love and respect to my blue collar coworkers and agrarian workers spending every day outdoors in a warming world and breathing in even more burning air to get through it all.

another technicolor not-silhouette, this time a more wolf like canine in front of a dark and achromatic gritty-textured city. this shape is full of plants and trees and emanates colorful ripples into the darkness around it. a white sun glows in the technicolor sky where its third eye sits. its head is tilted up as if in bliss despite the dark surroundings. #furryartist #transmascartist #furry #art
