Got around to an ebook I bought a while ago and, within the first chapter, realised it's an Untamed fanfic with the names changed I read a few years ago. Not a complaint - I really loved the fanfic. Glad the author's making some money from it; they're really talented.

I also did a rewatch of 1-3 to lead straight into 4. I think narratively it's meatier than VM's early episodes at the table, so that's why it feels bigger. Plus the longer length of course (Jester snigger) of episodes. Plus, of course, Essek... and yet! More Yasha!
