Like I wonder what top players would still be willing to attend a championship if it was like merch-funded prize pool or something. I sound a bit idealist, I know, but it’s something to consider.

What if Smash had a year long circuit again, but there isn’t a massive $250,000 prize pool? Like just a collaboration between the big events to make things feel more impactful. I feel that a big factor of us both having a circuit is feeling like we need a HUGE prize for it.

Competition is so stressful, man. Even in online tournaments, no matter how much I feel like I know myself, I still mentally collapse sometimes. I don’t take it out on anything, but it’s there. Just gotta keep reminding myself to stay in it. Wins don’t wait for you to calm down.

I fell into a spiral of judgment of others as of recently, and I think it's time I claw my way out of it. I'm never in a position to criticize anyone, especially when I know I'm very flawed.

I gotta say, last stock last hit game 3 feels SO MUCH WORSE than last stock last hit game 5, like by a mile. One of them is just holding onto a cliff for dear life and the other is the climax of a broadway worthy performance

I have to remember why I play, why I love ultimate. My enjoyment should never be dependent on my wins, only my innate skill and desire to learn. I’m never making the mistake of pressuring to perform ever again. Every set is a new fun experience and I’ll cherish every second.

Yesterday at Dawghack, for the first time in 4 years of competition…I rage quit. I exited the game and had a complete breakdown. I was lying to myself when I said I didn’t care as much about results. It CRIPPLED my play yesterday, and that’s unacceptable.
