Weekly post about how bed is great. Especially when it's cold outside and the world seems bleak.

Going to bed early. Tired of this world and need all of my wherewithal to go to work in the morning.

the truly cold front has arrived, so a drop from 80 to 37 degrees. time to pull out the electric blanket. wish getting old means i can stay warm in cold weather, but no, i'm just hot in hot weather.

in the end, I'll need to delay my no-buy because I bought non-essentials at Teso and Daiso for a November event (all completely unnecessary lol). but i got a lot of household tasks done, finished another sewing piece, so it's all good. 😅

Want to run some errands before the concert but feeling tired still. Back to bed!

i think i'm gonna chop off my hair soon. maybe i'll cut it myself. way too long and causing me to look bald, although having short hair doesn't fix that problem... not at my advanced age!

But the real issue is that my middle schoolers CONSTANTLY believe all art I show them is AI. Digital art. Photography. Oil paintings from the Western canon. "A human couldn't do that" Being convinced that humans can't make great art is kind of terrifying

I spotted this on Mastodon and I find it horrible, not least for the speed with which this has happened.

i can’t believe a good thing happened we should do this more often

easier day at work today and less back pain. i ended up cooking dinner super late (miso salmon and rice, plus pico de gallo for chips), but feeling like there may be a light at the end of the tunnel, at least for today. tomorrow, not so sure

i've been having a lot of back pain recently from doing nothing more strenuous than the same low level of physical activity i've been doing for years. not sure if i'm getting old or i'm getting weak or i need a new bed. but i can't bend anymore without groaning like a senior citizen. it's really bad

every year I realize again that I am really not into it being dark at 5 pm

Monday morning, making my usual weekly post about how bed is wonderful and I need to stay in bed as much as possible

Just letting everyone know that I took down my commissions/request post now that it's November. No one asked me for anything (expected), but this is a reminder if you ask me now to start a new piece for you, I may not finish before Xmas, it will have be done next year.

i didn't even begin to catch up on my videogaming or research for my personal projects lol. well, i did buy a ps3 motion for more just dance, so i'm gaming but not the actual games i needed to progress. today i'm going to finish one last thing off my list and call it a half-success. need a win...

last day of my staycation and once again, did not accomplish as much as I had hoped before busy season begins at work and irl. at least i got 3 out of 5 appointments done, and umm... finished almost all of my monthly projects. but i needed to clean my yard/house and finish more artwork/costumes

went to an art market today (did not buy anything for anyone else lol) and then drove my mom around the metroplex to look at yarn since joann's closed. we were mildly successful, and that's a win in this economy.

Happy Halloween! I wore a Dracula inspired coord from stuff I already owned like I was Wisdom K or something. I did get a lot more kids trick or treating this year because of everything awful going on in this country, glad I bought 3 bags of candy.

Even though I have Halloween off this year, haven't felt like celebrating or doing anything fun. Not in this hell world. Think I'll just rot in bed today too.
