Maybe I'm rambling at this point (I really said 'a little context' huh?) All I'm trying to get at - even if it's just a small thing, even if it goes nowhere, I'm glad I got to revisit this song that helped start it all for me.

I ended up connecting with multiple great communities. Started writing again after *years* stuck in a slump. Studied a language so maybe one day I could write or translate songs for *real*.

Which is to say, without this song and without that cover and without Reza I wouldn't be here.

Yet I forged on, published it for the world to see, because of how much the song and the streamer behind it meant to me. His music, his lore, his writing - all of it was a massive inspiration for why I started as a youtaite to begin with.

The first time I covered this piece was also the first time I attempted any sort of musical arrangement on my own (with a software I didn't know) or any sort of translyrics (from Bahasa Indonesia, a language I didn't speak)

It was, as you might expect, kinda pretty terrible.
