Ahhhh the era when everyone went mad for a folding hard top. The Eos was a really interesting solution with its integral opening glass sunroof… Kinda a hard top twist on the MINI cabrios roof. Unlike the canvas MINI, the Eos did prove to be a bit leaky as time went on. 😬

E39. This is absolutely peak 5-series. And it’s all because of the detail.

I’ve never quite decided which one was prettier. I think I probably would put my own money into the second gen X150 though…
