Well that was another great day, this time with a lot of buses (and a shortage of photos of said buses, oops)
Overall Reading has a great bus network, really enjoyed it and will probably be back, thanks to @xfinney.bsky.social for joining today!

A great Saturday in Brussels π§πͺ exploring the best of their metro and suburban rail network. A really impressive network to be honest!
Thanks to @abstractgamer7.bsky.social and @swtransport.bsky.social for joining!
There goes that plan then π₯²

Managed to get a seatfrog upgrade and this train has the dine menu, so had quite a nice breakfast π
On my way to join a few others later, watch this space!
First solo shift today on BM desk, luckily the SWML treated me quite well!
Now time to head home and get some sleep ahead of a very early wake up tomorrow morning π
Home time now!
Great to join @swtransport.bsky.social for the last bit of the journey back to the south coast.
Back to work tomorrow for a late turn, then a very interesting trip on Thursday!
Call done, time to explore the network a bit!
Let's start with a couple of 455s on the 1117 to Chessington South

May! Just stayed quite local for the first part of the month, then it was off to the Harrogate loop for some stations. Rounded off the month with a work experience placement at GTR!

April! This brought for me what I believe to be the first of many trips up north, as well as my first railtour and other trips heading both west and north!

Time for March! A few trips on the Great Western this month because of GWR's sale.
It was off to Devon, Hereford, the Valleys, Penzance AND a Severn & Solent Rover. What a month! Thanks to @allukstations.bsky.social and @swtransport.bsky.social for joining at various points!
Christmas Eve shift finished!
This year has been an extraordinary year, one where I got to join the railway. Thank you to the incredible teams at Bournemouth and Weymouth TCDs for making me feel welcome in no time!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone!

January! Just the one long trip really but easily one of the more memorable ones of the year. A few stations which ironically are quite local to me, however ended up getting home 5 hours late due to some quite bad disruption π
Seems like I once again was having technical issues and the post didn't send... oops!
Anyway, a great day yesterday in the Leeds area joined by @tomyorks.bsky.social , and finally completed my 2024 stations goal just in time.
Here's my @lner.co.uk 225 set which took me back down to London! π
That thing called work was in order today!
Here's a random photo I took earlier on the way in, two of SWRs finest units π (yes, I do genuinely believe the 444s are the best trains in the fleet)
It's my turn to forget a post, could have sworn I did this!
It's been a great 3 days around the South West, thanks to @xfinney.bsky.social for joining, it's been incredible!
Was a great 3 days, thanks a lot for having me (and putting up with me!)

for joining, next trip tomorrow, then Wednesday, then Thursday... yeah you can tell it's annual leave week!
On a rainy Monday at the start of September, it was my first day on the railway, heading to Basingstoke on the 0723.
Exactly 3 months on (stood in nearly the same place) it's onto a train 90mins earlier to head up north to start off my week of annual leave!
Home time! Thanks to @xfinney.bsky.social for joining for another great day. Didn't quite go to plan (#BlameStagecoach) but still had a good day nonetheless.
I've got myself a 10 car train, relieves the panic when I originally thought I had 5 π
Today was the Arterio press launch! Had a great tour around these new trains that'll transform journeys across the metro.

Quite a disrupted day today but was useful to see how disruption can affect services west of BMH
Will be out on the trains again tomorrow!
A great day up north yesterday joined by @abstractgamer7.bsky.social and @allukstations.bsky.social! Just narrowly managed to avoid disruption caused by the storm π

Good to see the SWR One Scan system rolling out more! Nice to see journey tracking, connecting bus/train information, disruption information for all TOCs, a journey planner and more accessible from one seatback QR code.
Rolling out soon to the whole 444 fleet and some 450s!
