If it vs beltline rail vs MARTA expansion I'd take beltline rail. Exactly for the reason you're stating. We can get in the way of progress, even if it's not exactly what we want.

I kind of agree, but we need suburban expansion well. I think that expansion also has to be couple with good land use, though. The majority of people in "Atlanta" don't even live in the city, but travel there often. There needs to be some sort of rapid connection between these areas.

Genuinely, yes. If we're able to energize volunteers and get out the vote, the math is there. It's going to be a tough fight, and I will give everything I have.

Mixed-use neighborhoods bring in more revenue without raising taxes, save space, and cut traffic. That extra money can be reinvested into better services & infrastructure.

We’re running out of space for new homes, and because we refuse to build closer together, it’s costing us time, space, and money.

Instead of building where people already want to go, we sprawl outward, destroying greenspace and creating more traffic.

We now know who my opponent is, it's the current mayor! Despite passing term limits, and serving for 16 years, he's now seeking a 5th term in office.
