I know they did not consent to having their picture taken (they are aware of this now) and the majority of those there were not contributing to the noise level. Next time, please consider trying to confront the issue in person by approaching people or making staff aware of your feelings.

Hey! I know a lot of the people in that group. They’re a really kind and welcoming bunch. If you had approached (or let the workers know, most of the group is quite close to the Union staff) rather than posted on social media they would have taken steps to ensure everyone in the bar was comfortable.
