Working on this long term Vancouver restaurant history project, I stumbled across one of a few of our Chopstick recycling stations tucked away in the Harbour Centre mall.

They turn the chopsticks into new wood flooring, which I imagine are so good you could eat off them.

I first visited Copenhagen when I was on tour there in 2000. I was impressed with how many people were taking advantage of the bike lanes.

I showed this to a person in their early 20s, and they had no idea whatsoever what it was.
I told them it was something that used to be called a “marital aid” back in the day, and thought i’d just leave it at that. They were even more confused.

I went by myself to catch the late screening of @28yearslater.bsky.social tonight in #VancouverBC. When I walked out of the cinema at midnight, I thought I’d walked into the film. All of Burrard Street from the bridge to Broadway completely empty. No cars. No people! Not a living soul around!
