A free-standing black granite wall.  The ends are vertical. The middle is slanted back about 15 degrees and slightly shorter than the ends.  There are 3 jets of water visible in front of the wall.  The fountain is not accessible, but visible from the street, so out of necessity the steel benches between the street and the fountain are included in the picture.  Buildings on the South side of Chestnut Street are visible behind the fountain.

A big point of #WeekWithoutDriving is to highlight the barriers to mobility for people who are unable to drive due to various disabilities.

I once had a coworker with narcolepsy so he chose to live in NYC since it’s one of the few places in the US where most people can live without a car.

There is a 3D elongated brown metal pyramid from the sidewalk to about 2/3 of the way up the wall.  The tip is in front of a yellow teardrop shape with white metal feather forms radiating out and up to the bottom of the roof creating a very abstract peacock.

There are small triangle insets in the lower left of the rectangle with a blue stripe and smaller white triangles.  Four diagonal stripes radiate up on either side of the medallions parallel to the hypotenuses of the triangles at the base.  The stripes have the same white and blue pattern as the base triangles and are also inset with white radio waves.  The medallions from the top down  appear to be a face, lyre, book, and microphone
