Cookie is not only ridiculously adorable but he's quite the hunter, securing his prey aka catnip play mousies, near his eating area. Little man has his vet appt set up so fingers crossed for good results on tests. If all's ok he'll be neutered. Big step. Intro to the home is next. Love you all 🩷

Thx for asking. I've got to post something but he's doing great. Had a mobile vet out to see him & he got dewormed & looked at. Hissy boy. Have an appt for his neuter & tests later this month. Fingers crossed for no diseases. He's still separated but able to see the other cats. He's doing good

Had a rescue pup with a similar story & named him Marcus after the Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius who was known for his belief in Stoicism, the ancient Greek and Roman philosophy that emphasizes virtue, reason, and inner strength in the face of hardship. I know. Crazy but the name fit our guy

I wanted to encourage you to not be depressed but then I remembered this first came out in the 1980's. It was relevant then & we haven't learned a darn thing. It's still relevant today. Now I'm depressed too. At least I'm in good company. Take care 😊
