“For me, the main thing is this year I’ve been able to stay healthy ... last year I had lots of small, nagging injuries, and this year I haven’t had that. ... it can be hard to get that first goal,” but once you start scoring the goals come rolling in, according to Musovski.

“I think that’s a big part of how we’re scoring so many goals, is how active our defense is ... I just think Jackson, Yeimar and Kim do such a good job,” helping to get the attack started with their ability to win balls and play back-to-front quickly.

“We have such strong leadership on the team, from Schmetz ... and Cristian ... a big part of it is just holding a very high standard in training ... that translates well to games and we’re able to stay on top of teams. ... everyone’s playing at a really high level right now."

Brunell says he’ll celebrate by going home, sleeping, and having a celebratory breakfast.

Musovski: “It was a great ball from Paul, we kind of gave each other a Quick Look before he played the ball. ... everybody finds great spaces and are able to find that ... I try to find some great space and anticipate where the ball will go.” says it’s good to be playing in this team.

Musovski on the Galaxy: “They’ve been doing really well recently ... we knew they were fired up. ... we also came out with good energy and weren’t taking them lightly, and that’s why we were able to get a good result."

“For me they all count the same, it felt really good to score. I don’t care if it’s an easy goal or a hard goal."

Musovski on his form: “It helps when the team is executing all over the field. ... a big part of it is staying healthy, making sure I’m available,"

Snyder on scoring his goal: “I mean, it was a crazy feeling: when Kalani slipped it through to Alex, I was screaming for Alex to cut it back."
