Exactly. It got so much better with this newly installed protected bike lane. In the other direction there is still only a small shared space with pedestrians which is uncomfortable and pretty dangerous .

Since Austria introduced the deposit system for single-use plastic bottles, they now have a real value and people collecting them from public bins has become a common sight. Great to see cities like Linz installing “Pfandringe,” where bottles can be left for collection instead of thrown away.
