23.02.2026 16:38 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I think that every time a kid says about maths "but when will I ever need to know this?" One word wends it's weary way out of the ether, like a collective sigh from souls searching for why this thing worked a minute ago ... "programming"
22.02.2026 21:25 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0I should just give Makeship free access to my bank account at this point π Too many lovely plushies and one daughter with a lot of cool fandoms she loves
21.02.2026 10:12 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0Survey: tell us how you're using AI GamesIndustry.biz is running an editorial survey (with no commercial involvement) to find out how the industry is using AI, how you think it should be used, and how it should be presented to players. It's quite short, simple, and anonymous, although there's the option to give your email address if you'd like to talk more. Please note this survey is only for those working in the industry, not the general public. You can fill out the survey here. The survey will run until Wednesday 25 February, and we'll be reporting the results as part of a run of coverage on GamesIndustry.biz, in an effort to look past the controversy and judge the impact AI is having on how games are made and marketed.
Gi.biz have a survey up about genAI usage, you know what to do comrades

Is there a game out there where suitors bake to gain my affection, there is a choice of feline companions, and I don't have to re-live the horrors of high school?

So true. It's almost like people can still actually connect, support, and care even when we aren't physically in the same space
Going to now go play Minecraft with my BFF (Best Fishing Friend) who's thousands of miles away in a different timezone
Thought it was just an age thing, but no, my teenager still plays console games standing up with her nose a few inches from the screen
15.02.2026 21:28 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Talking to a solicitor the other day and was horrified when they said that online friends didn't count as "real" friends (at least legally). Even more horrified at then having to explain Discord to them
15.02.2026 21:25 β π 2 π 0 π¬ 1 π 0*goes to check that I've actually posted stuff* phew ... can't be me then π
15.02.2026 21:19 β π 1 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0A basic income for all should be a human right. Creative people would be supported, full-time carers would be able to have a life, people could take a break to study or travel, care homes would get more staff. The benefits are endless. *sigh*
14.02.2026 22:37 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0If you read the above really fast, your brain will tell you it says "bacon mine" (or is that just my weird brain?)

Seems to me that those people who don't care/worry about the end product can just get stuff done, and those that want to create beautiful things for the world find it hard just starting the process
No advice here, as depression is so individual. Just a shout of support from out in the crowd
Can't find a vegan "hot dog" anymore in the uk. Really miss them (am allergic to mushrooms/micro proteins, so lots of pre-made vegan food is off limits for me)
Will try this though when I go to Sweden next - they have amazing vegan food
I feel weird asking, but please consider checking out my Twitch streams ( www.twitch.tv/CamronJK ) and maybe even follow me over there.
I work really hard to create a safe and welcoming, relaxing stream for people to unwind in but growth can be hard.
If I'm not your cup of tea, cool, unfollow, I-

They look so realistic π
Your post reminded me of making real tiny cookies (about 1cm across) for my daughter when she was little. It was not easy - I am in awe of you. You must have really nimble fingers to get your creations so small
Proud to present Project Smile at GDLX26
Project Smile is a choice-based interactive game set in a superhero dystopia.
Built by a solo developer, Jay 'Yarheeguy' Miles, this is one youβll want to get hands-on with on the show floor.

Today is my day off, just trying to relax.
Wanna help make my day?
I'm nearing 6k followers on Twitch! (8 away?!)
While my follow count is legit a mess, it would still be cool to hit!
I stream cozy games, mostly indie, and always interactive!
Interested? Check me out!

Every year at GDLX, devs walk in thinking theyβre behind.
They walk out realising they were never alone.
That moment? Thatβs why GDL exists.
