I’d say 5.3, my friends got me into the game during 5.2 and while my journey into the XIV fandom/story was a bit delayed due to reasons. 5.3 was my first time doing stuff when the patch dropped and the Seat of Sacrifice trial was just absolutely amazing.

I grew up hearing about final fantasy here and there but never actually looked into it. Around covid, I got my first ever gaming pc and my friends suggested FFXIV. I decided to try it out and absolutely fell in love. I still play to this day and have started to branch out to other FFs as well. 🩵
