It certainly shouldn't be a given, that's what Affiliate is for. It's crazy how so many people will "Partner Push" for months at 30-40 avg viewers. Rather than building their communities naturally, they try to fast-track reaching a milestone.

All of this for what is essentially an ego boost.

Dude, why is coming up with backgrounds for art pieces so hard?

Trying to find the right colors without them just blending into the character. Designing a pattern/shape that's not too simple with out it also drawing too much attention. It's just such a headache! 🙃

EXACTLY! Even if the Partner push is successful, a lot of the people who were there for the hype of supporting you will likely lose interest and never come back.

All that for a purple checkmark and a few extra emote slots that most won't even need.

I wish I could confidently say they probably don't know better. But I've been in this game long enough that people will just expect the world and get pissy when they actually have to pay what it's worth. 🙃
