Meant to ask you when this came up during Prime Day - how much time do you find it saves you using these attachments vs. hand scrubbing?

30.05.2025 19:38 โ ๐ 7 ๐ 2 ๐ฌ 1 ๐ 1I lost a close friend last weekend. It was unexpected, and honestly, I'm still not fully comprehending it's real.
To read anything Leif wrote was to know him. He was so incredibly and broadly talented.
I miss him.

You can totally make good rice in a $30 rice cooker if you learn its quirks. ($200?!?!?!)

tl;dr - It's complicated.

What are must-visit spots for weird/cool PC hardware in Tokyo & Seoul? Visiting later this year and I wanna have a plan for attack :)

28.02.2025 19:31 โ ๐ 0 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0NEW: @apnews.com has now been barred from an event in the Oval Office because it "did not align its editorial standards with Trump's EO renaming the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America."
In other words, b/c @apnews.com ACCURATELY calls it the "Gulf of Mexico," it is now being punished by Trump.
Some people like to set deadlift goals to challenge themselves.
I bought a Costco pack of Cheez-Its before I was done getting back in shape.
So much got packed into this particular show. I really wish they recorded these. I'd buy access to rewatch.
03.02.2025 06:46 โ ๐ 1 ๐ 0 ๐ฌ 0 ๐ 0Best casual modern-day aside:
Steward, going through the imaginary mail: "You've been preapproved for a Bank of Illyria credit card, my lady."
(Bwahahaha.)
Best troll + callback: The Scrivener telling the Count to 'read aloud' a different imaginary letter. Then adding, "It's a limerick."
(Us: OooohhhhHHHHHhhHHhhhhhHHH.)
(That performer sweated some bullets, but pulled it off. We cheered very loud for him.)
Best random moment: Unexpected partner dance interlude.
(Why? Why not)
* In the final act, the Count repeats almost verbatim the whole alphabetized love letter to prove his identity to the Duchess O_O
(What a callback.)
* Steward not only hit all 26 letters, but worked in a ship sinking as the current event. Also, a reference to actual modern-day politics.
(But that wasn't even the highlight of this bit.)
* Duchess telling her steward to 'read aloud' the obviously imaginary love letter.
* Duchess also notes it contains an alphabetized list of her best qualities, along with references to current events.
(Us in the audience: Oooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhh)
* Count has waited 11 years to tell this woman of his feelings. She's been in mourning.
* Why 11 years for a mourning period? Why not.
* She was over the death after the first year.
(I did not know there could be so many ways to refer to the time span. "Decade + 1," etc)
Theme is always solicited from the audience.
This show: "The Scrivener's Error"
The improv story unfolds as: A nobleman pines for a noblewoman, uses his scribe to send her a message, and shenanigans happen when the letter is signed with the wrong name.
And what shenanigans.
Saw The Improvised Shakespeare Company (www.improvisedshakespeare.com) at SF Sketchfest this weekend.
Didn't think it could be better than the first time I saw them last fall, but...
Bugs and Daffy standing by a tree, sign reads DUCK SEASON, then RABBIT SEASON then ELMER SEASON, and they both glare ominously off camera
classic Loony Tunes have much to teach us about class solidarity

As detrimental as our generation has been to succinct, neutral reporting, I'm not mad about the irreverence.
