Every pupil in our school has received a book, hand-picked by their class teacher, chosen specially to spark a love of reading! A story for every child from someone who knows them best.

What a splash-tastic end to the term! The whole school joined in a water fight- a brilliant way to celebrate a fantastic year!

What an incredible KS2 summer performance! Our pupils shone on stage with confidence, talent and teamwork. We are so proud of every single one of them- you were amazing!

Year 1 & 2 enjoyed a fascinating RE trip exploring faith and places of worship at Norwich Synagogue and the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist. A wonderful journey of discovery and respect for different beliefs.

In RE, Acorns explored why Christians pray and worship God. We welcomed a very special visitor, Carolyn, who shared her experiences and answered our questions about prayer.

A fantastic day at Aldeburgh Yacht Club! The pupils had a brilliant time on the water, growing in confidence with every tack and turn.

Year 5 had a fantastic day at Thomas Mills! They took on long jump world records, explored a real WW2 bunker, tackled microplastics in science, and built epic paper towers - with Benhall taking the crown for the tallest!

A great morning for transition at school. Lovely to meet our new staff, new classes and of course for our pupils in year 5 and 6 to take on the taskmaster!

Pupils in Acorns explored seeds and bulbs, discovering what they grow into and how they travel - by wind, water, or animals!

Squirrels Class had a fantastic time exploring Broad Oak Farm. They learned about the animals and the products they provide and enjoyed activities like egg collecting, a forest walk and tractor rides. Despite the heat, they were amazing!

It was lovely to welcome Rev. Rob back into school this month. He led a wonderful collective worship on our value for this half term, sharing the story of Jesus calming the storm. Inspiring and thoughtful as always!

Amazing day at Thomas Mills for the athletics event! Pupils in KS1 & KS2 gave it their all- fantastic performances in running, jumping and throwing. So proud of their energy, effort, and sportsmanship!

After the weekend’s bad weather, some of our amazing pupils took the initiative to check and tidy the bark area. They made sure it was safe and ready for everyone to enjoy.

What an amazing whole school trip to Pipers Vale Gymnastics Club! The children loved trying out the rings, bars, jumps and more- a day full of energy, excitement and new skills!

Our Year 1s have been exploring place value by partitioning numbers into tens and ones- super number work!

Despite the weather, Oaks had a productive day contributing with ‘re-wilding’ the school grounds.

Acorns Class were inspired by Wassily Kandinsky today, creating beautiful pencil sketches while listening to music - just like the artist himself!

Woodlands had an amazing trip to London visiting both the Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey.

Great debate and thoughtful discussion in today’s history lesson exploring why so many people moved to towns during the Victorian era.

Woodlands gave a stunning performance tonight- moving, heartfelt, and full of passion. They truly sang their hearts out and we couldn’t be prouder. @longshop.bsky.social

Woodlands was buzzing with STEM energy last week! Pupils explored the science of structures, built tetrahedrons, and faced off in bridge-building and tallest tower challenges. Creativity, teamwork, and engineering at its best!

We are very proud to announce that we have achieved the Gold School Games Mark.

An early start to an action-packed final day! Cabins cleaned (to the highest standard ever), a top-tier cooked breakfast, hilarious tyre races (the Cym team may have cheated), low ropes, the crop game and we finished with lunch & music of their choice—what a send-off!

Squirrels had a fantastic time learning what it’s like to have a pet tortoise! They discovered his habitat, diet, and hibernation routine—and even got to touch his shell! He tried to escape too… apparently his favourite hobby!

What an amazing day for Woodlands with Skill Supply! Our learners coded Spheros to move in all directions, were challenged with a range of problems they had to overcome and wrapped it all up with an epic cone-flipping challenge!

What a fantastic first day for Oaks at CYM! Pupils showed brilliant teamwork and resilience during low ropes, archery, and laser tag. An action-packed start to the adventure!
