In the last week I cooked:

Rib steaks, Yorkshire pudding, parboiled roasted potatoes, carrots&parsnips, cookie sticks coated with white/milk/mint choc, chicken schnitzel with mashed potatoes, pickled onions, sweet&sour meatballs, steak/caprese crostinis, arancini, lava cakes, pastry asparagus...

If the homemade lava cakes were in the picture that would be especially true

I made a metric shit ton of food for wife's birthday party including cheesy arancini, steak crostinis, caprese crostinis, baked Brie, sweet and sour meatballs, lava cakes, and a ton more

I completely redid the way I do enemy highlights now, with far better and more consistent results.

But now I need to manually go into each of my 290 monsters and delete their highlight meshes so that we don't waste processor power animating/ticking things that are never seen!

Are vegans okay with eating the rich?

Just figured out an amazing parenting hack - when we go out to eat I don't order anything at all, or just get something small and cheap. Then when my kids eat 10% of their meal and are done I get to eat the rest! 😋

To give just a taste of the extent of my UI overhaul for Monsters of Mican, here is a comparison of the old, ugly, hard to read and overwhelming static tutorial, versus the new "tutorial splash screen" that's just one part of a much cleaner and more streamlined tutorial system.

Season 2 gets a bad rap because of season 1 (and because of the clip show). I think it's overall pretty good.

The Nagilum episode was great!

I think the naming is why british food doesn't catch on here. Nobody in the US wants a mince pie.

Ground beef pastry bites though? Hell yeah!

Yorkshire pudding? Why do I want pudding with my roast? Oh you mean delicious oily bread thing? Why didn't you say so!

Adding pauses and breaks in typewriter text functions is SO much harder than I first thought! But it adds a lot!
